Workshop @ Kerala Museum Edappally

Hot Off the Press: Printmaking Workshop!
Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th May, 10.30 am - 3.30 pm
Join artist Jayesh Barsathi at the Kerala Museum to explore the art of printmaking. Learn how to hand-cut your own designs on wood sheets and use them to create unique prints!
Prior printing experience is not necessary. This workshop is suitable for participants aged 14 and above.

About the artist:
Jayesh Barsathi is a printmaker and painter. For his wood cut prints, Jayesh received the Kerala Lalitha Kala Academy State Award in 2014-15. His works have been displayed in exhibitions across Kerala. Jayesh studied printmaking at Shantiniketan, West Bengal and at Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady. At present, he is a guest art lecturer at Sree Sankaracharya University.
