'Culture Heritage and Our Future Cities' symposium @ Kerala Museum

'Culture Heritage and Our Future Cities' symposium,  will be held at the Kerala Museum on 21st and 22nd of April. The event will include talks, discussions, exhibits and an interactive installation as well as Kutiyattam, Kalaripayattu and Daveli performances as well as Documentary Flim Screening of the winners of ‘Films for the Future, a Traveling Exchanges Short Documentary Film Competition’.

Summer Camp 2018- Kerala Museum

ONCE UPON A SUMMER is our annual summer camp, which this year will be held twice due to popular demand.
Our children have the best of teachers and content. The camp is planned as two weeks of production work towards putting on a play. From critical analysis of the topic to crafting the backdrop to creating the music, it's a very rewarding summer experience!

Art Walk in collaboration with Sahapedia and TAOS on 14th January 2018

 

On 14 January, 2018, welcome 36 students from Thoppumpady's Our Lady's Convent Girls Higher Secondary School at the Kerala Museum. This two-session event is organising in collaboration with Sahapedia https://www.sahapedia.org and The Art Organisation Society (TAOS) http://taos.org.in

About Violint Shri Harikumar Sivan

About Harikumar Sivan:

Harikumar is a leading violinist in the Indian carnatic music scene. He trained under the late Chalakkudy Narayana Swami, and violin virtuoso Dr. L Subramaniam. Harikumar has been very successful in the fusion music scene through his band BlueFire, a collaborative project which brought together Indian classical music with pop and jazz music. More recently, Harikumar has been mastering the electric violin, which he will play at this concert.
