Culture Heritage and Future Cities Symposium

Art lovers in Kochi and Kerala have something cheer about this summer. 'Culture Heritage and Future Cities’ Symposium, will be held in Kerala history Museum on 21st and 22nd of April. The symposium features lectures and exhibits as well as Kutiyattam, Kalaripayattu and Daveli performances and an interactive installation. A screening of the winners of ‘Films for the Future, a Traveling Exchanges Short Documentary Film Competition’ will also be part of the event.
The symposium is facilitated by Kanta Kochhar-Lindgren, Ph.D. (Affiliated with the Madhavan Nayar Foundation) and K.K. Gopalakrishnan, Writer and Cultural Critic on the Kerala Performing Arts and Director of the Kuttiyattam Kendra (2010-2016).
The tickets of the two day event are priced at Rs.250 (Rs.230 for online booking), which includes lunch, tea and dinner for both days. Tickets can also be purchased from the Museum counter on the 21st and 22nd of April. If seating is available, the cost of tickets to attend an individual event is Rs.50 per event only at the door.

Summer Camp 2018- Kerala Museum

ONCE UPON A SUMMER is our annual summer camp, which this year will be held twice due to popular demand.
Our children have the best of teachers and content. The camp is planned as two weeks of production work towards putting on a play. From critical analysis of the topic to crafting the backdrop to creating the music, it's a very rewarding summer experience!
